Rohan Manning - Middletown Financial Analyst and Youth Baseball Coach, President Middletown Little League

Rohan Manning serves as chief financial analyst for the City of Middletown, Connecticut, supporting the Public Works Department’s fiscal planning and reporting. Rohan Manning prepares budgets and forecasts, compares actual spending with projections, and supports programs that include sanitation, capital improvements, and grants.

In this municipal role, he also monitors expenditures, supports contract compliance, and contributes to financial work related to energy-efficiency and paving projects. Mr. Manning joined the city in 2019 after a career in financial planning and analysis across aerospace, media, technology, and professional services. Previously, he was a senior financial analyst at ESPN, analyzing advertising revenue and preparing long-range plans for sports programming.

Mr. Manning is president and treasurer of Middletown Little League. He previously served on the league’s board as treasurer, vice president of baseball, and liaison to District 9. His volunteer work also includes more than nine years of youth baseball coaching and four years of All-Star coaching.

For the second consecutive year, Middletown Little League has been recognized for its outstanding participation in the annual Memorial Day Parade.
In 2026, Middletown Little League was awarded the Council of Veterans Trophy in recognition of its participation and support of our veterans and community. In 2025, Middletown Little League families turned out in record numbers to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and were awarded the Mayor's Trophy as the parade's top participating group for enthusiasm, spirit, and community involvement.

Over the years, a cherished tradition has developed between Middletown Little League and the Hartford Yard Goats. Each season, the Yard Goats invite Middletown Little League players and families to participate in holding the American flag during the National Anthem before a game. It is a tremendous honor for our league to be recognized in this way and to have our players represent Middletown Little League in large numbers during such a proud and memorable moment. The experience provides our young athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their community spirit, sportsmanship, and respect for our country while creating lasting memories with their teammates and families.

Mr. Manning earned an MBA in finance from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and information systems from Boston College.
